Hello, Kindergarten Griffins!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Please make sure to read through the blog thoroughly.
This Week:
Gingerbread Celebration:
An email with the sign-up for our Kindergarten Gingerbread Boy Celebration will go out from your Lead teacher this Wednesday, December 11th at 9:45 AM. The celebration will be held on Friday, December 20th.
Reading Bags/Check-Ins:
Reading logs still need to be signed and completed each night for homework. Please make sure that your child brings their reading bags back to school each day in their backpack. We have started reading with your child one-on-one, and our goal is twice a week per student, however, it varies by week when your child reads with their teacher and how often. Your child will receive a new list or book, as the teacher assess for fluency and comprehension when reading with each scholar. Thank you!
Library:
KA and KB Library: Tuesday
KC and KD Library: Wednesday
Independent Study Projects:
Packets were sent home last Wednesday, December 4th. At the top of the packet, your scholar's assigned animal was written. Please read through the packet, and have the project fully completed by Jan. 13, 2025, to be presented in front of the class. This will count as a test grade in science for next quarter.
