Hello, Kindergarten Griffins!
We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and is ready for the 2nd semester! We have enjoyed seeing our scholars share and present their Independent Study Projects today, which we see they worked very hard on.
This Week:
Reading Bags/Check-Ins:
Reading logs still need to be signed and completed each night for homework. Please make sure that your child brings their reading bags back to school each day in their backpack. We have started reading with your child one-on-one, and our goal is twice a week per student, however, it varies by week when your child reads with their teacher and how often. This week we will start on Tuesday, as we get settled back in. Your child will receive a new list or book, as the teacher assess for fluency and comprehension when reading with each scholar.
Library:
KA and KB Library: Tuesday
KC and KD Library: Wednesday
Independent Study Projects: Were due today!
Packets were sent home Wednesday, December 4th. At the top of the packet, your scholar's assigned animal was written. Please read through the packet, and have the project fully completed by January 13, 2025, to be presented in front of the class. This will count as a test grade in science for next quarter. Please check email from 12/4 for a copy of the Independent Study packet.
