Hello, Kindergarten Griffins!
We have a busy two months ahead of us, so please make sure to read through the blog thoroughly and make note of important dates coming up!
This Week:
Library- please make sure your child brings their book back every week, so they are able to check out a new book each week.
- KA and KB will go every Wednesday.
- KC and KD will go every Tuesday.
Native American Celebration will be on Thursday, November 20th. A sign up will be going out on Wednesday (11/5) at 9:30am for celebration volunteer lottery entries and supplies needed to make the day extra special for each class.
- As a new schoolwide policy, we want to ensure that every family has a fair opportunity to participate, we are updating our volunteer process. We will now use a lottery system for our most highly sought-after volunteer opportunities. Please refer to the Information email that was sent at the beginning of the year by GHNO that gives more details on how the lottery system works. To enter the lottery, a background check and FERPA forms must be completed and on file with the school before your name can be entered on the sign-up genius. The sign-up will be open for FIVE days to allow all interested parties to submit their name. The sign-up OPENS on November 5th and will CLOSE on November 12th for 2 volunteers per homeroom section. Be on the lookout for the celebration email this week!
Native American Instrument Project: Papers will go home today with instructions for the instrument project that will be due Tuesday, November 18th.

Grandparents Day will be Wednesday (11/19).
