Hello, Kindergarten Griffin Parents!
We've made it to the last week of such a wonderful year, and the time sure flew by!
Ceremony Times:
8:30am
KA- Brown/Cisneros
KB- Quick/Copeland
12:30pm
KC- Ash/ Krauss
KD- Simmons/ McConnell
Each ceremony will conclude with light refreshments for the families and scholars to enjoy before the students return to class.
The students will practice for promotion on Tuesday (the day before) so please make sure ladies wear hair in a way that we can still comfortably put the cap on for BOTH days. I will list a few ideas below that are cap-friendly vs. hairstyles to avoid:
- Cap-Friendly: Low bun, low ponytail, half-up/half-down, soft curls or waves, braids, or simply wearing their down naturally.
- Avoid: High buns or top knots, high ponytails, big volume at the crown, updos (anything tall), and hair accessories (bows, clips, etc.)
- We will not be putting bobby pins to hold caps or combing hair for touch-ups, so we recommend using hold spray or gel
All scholars will need to arrive at school on time as usual, and we will have our regular mid-morning/afternoon schedule following the ceremonies. Great Hearts scholars will complete academic lessons through the last day of school, including assessments, so we will have lessons and activities planned for the remainder of our ceremony day. Please do not take your child home after the ceremony.
